The corners of the mouth define your expression. Cosmetic training models of all ages can receive this treatment, with the prerequisite of either thinner lips or having corners that are either horizontal or drooping.
The process of filling the corners of the mouth involves injecting hyaluronic acid filler into the targeted areas, allowing the upper lip line to lift in a wave fashion. To complement this process, a small amount of hyaluronic acid filler is injected into the lower lip to close the lower lips towards the new position of the top lips.
The effects appear immediately after the procedure, which can be accompanied by some slight swelling, which lasts approximately 2 to 3 days. The corners of the mouth filler last from 9 months to a year depending on the brand used and your body’s reaction to the procedure. As the corners of the mouth move quite often, the effects can last slightly shorter than with other areas of the face.
